We wish to thank you for having the Bridgewater Festival of Lights, It has become a family tradition to visit the festival every year. We so enjoy the lights, music, free refreshments, and standing by the fire while the children walk through the village again and again.

Thank you for the generous donation of toys you made to the Operation Santa program. With your help and of others, more than 150 Bridgewater children and their families enjoyed the best Christmas ever.

WELCOME

Starlight Charities was formed in January 2004 as a non profit organization. Our mission is to raise funds to help those in need in our LOCAL area of southeastern Massachusetts. Our current fundraisers include the Bridgewater Festival of Lights which is a Christmas Light Display with over 200,000 lights and animated walk through village. We collect donations from visitors and that money goes to charities. We also sell sponsorships for the operational expenses, It is the sponsors that allow us to create and maintain the light festival. UPDATE

The Festival of Lights has grown to over 200,000 lights, over $20,000.00 in donations and sponsorships. This money has been put to good use, donations were made to the Italian Home in Jamaica Plain, Hanson and Bridgewater Lions Clubs, Support for our troops in Iraq, Hundreds of toys, for Toys for Tots, Hundreds of pounds of food for the Food Pantry, Hurricane Katrina relief, and other local donations.( see Where Donations Go )
This is a 2 fold event for us.

1. We raise money for those in need.

2. We bring joy to those who visit, many have said that it reminds them of the good times in their childhood.

During the next few years we are adding many more events so keep a watch on this site for future events that may interest you.

Our hopes are to be able to continue to assist the Lions, The Home Less, and the LOCAL organizations that bring food, clothing and gifts to those less fortunate during the holiday season
